Dave has B.Sc.(Honors) in geology & geophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur, India, D.I.C and M.Sc. in geophysics from the Imperial College, London, England, U.K.
He has over 35 years of well rounded oil industry experience in 3D & 2D interpretation, including interactive workstation, integration of geological and reservoir data, geophysical operations and project management in various types of petroliferous basins (International and U.S.A.).
Prior to co-founding II&T in 1988, he was Chief Geophysicist for Newmont Oil Company, Manager of Technology for Cities Service Company (International) and Supervisor for Exploration Services for Geophysical Service International (GSI).

Les has a B.Sc. in geology and geophysics from the University of Sydney, Australia.
He has over 35 years experience in geophysical interpretation and research in the oil & gas industry (International and U.S.A.). His expertise includes effective use of computers and interactive workstations in all phases of geophysical interpretation, especially in resolving problems with seismic data and its integration with geological and reservoir data.
Prior to co-founding II&T in 1988, he was Senior Geophysicist for Newmont Oil Company, Research Associate with Seiscom Delta, Inc., and held various positions with the Geological Survey of Greenland, the Antarctic Division (Australian Government), Associated Australian Resources and Geophysical Service Inc.
Les has worked on every continent except Africa and South America, in polar, temperate and tropical zones, from Antarctica to Greenland. He has most geophysical field experience in Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, and North America, with interpretation experience on data from every continent and every type of basin. He picked locations for the discovery wells for the Rolleston and Arcturus gas fields in Australia, and for the 1994 Q13-8 oil discovery in the Netherlands offshore.
Les is very experienced working with computers. He is a capable Unix systems administrator, C, Fortran and Perl programmer, and webmaster.
He has occasionally taught graduate courses in geophysical interpretation at the University of Houston (UH) since 1984.
