II&T offers geological structural analysis, including modern cross-section construction, restoration and balancing, microstructural studies regional mapping and synthesis, integration of remote sensing data sets (SPOT, Landsat, GIS) through Granath & Associates.
Granath earned both a BS and MS degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a PhD from Monash University.
He has 20 years research and practical experience in structural geology with applications to the petroleum industry. His training was in structural analysis and application of rigorous stress and strain theory to field geology. Granath worked in structurally complex terrains on five continents in research, exploration and new ventures capacities with Conoco.
His experience includes seismic interpretation, modern cross-section construction, restoration and balancing, microstructural studies regional mapping and synthesis, integration of remote sensing data sets (SPOT, Landsat, GIS), and prospect and play analysis. Areas where he has worked include the Rocky Mountains, Australia, India, Somalia, Irian Java, Republic of Georgia, Venezuela, Middle East and Caspian basin.
